The Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership is launching a new initiative in addition to the current Community Speed Watch (CSW) schemes, for the first time members can now also register to carry out speed checks in a controlled and authorised manner.

Speed enforcement will still remain the responsibility of the Police and continue to be conducted by trained officers and police staff.

If you wish to become involved in carrying out speed checks in your community or neighbouring village please get in touch with your parish council. The majority of parishes are already CSW members, but they will be receiving details of what CSW can offer to support parishes in reducing speeds in residential areas.
