Volunteers’ Week runs from 1st to 7th June, and we want to celebrate the people who give their time to support communities across Lincolnshire.

As a council, we are proud to work alongside more than 1,100 volunteers. Their dedication helps keep services running, supports residents, and strengthens communities right across the county.

Volunteering can open doors too. It builds confidence, develops new skills, improves wellbeing, and brings people together.

We’d love to hear your story. Why do you volunteer? What do you enjoy most? What difference have you seen it make?

Share your experiences on Let’s Talk Lincolnshire and help us recognise the people who make such a difference.

This year also marks 50 years of the Viking Way, so don’t forget to share your photos and memories as part of the celebrations.

You can also explore volunteering opportunities, see what changed because of public feedback, and sign up for the County Newsletter on the council website.
