I’m Jonathan Brough, and I am delighted to stand in the May 2025 election as the Conservative candidate and represent you on Lincolnshire County Council as your local Councillor.

Please allow me to briefly introduce myself. I am proud to call the wonderful town of Bourne my home and feel very privileged to live in this part of the country. I moved to Bourne 14 years ago whilst serving in the Royal Air Force, and despite various postings away from Lincolnshire, I have never been tempted to move elsewhere.

Service has always been a major part of my life. Service to our country and service to the local community. Shortly after moving to Bourne, I was fortunate to be appointed as a Director on Elsea Park Community Trust and then became the Chairman of the Board where I served until April 2024. This role afforded me the opportunity to influence the growing development of Elsea Park, holding developers to account, and working with town, district and county councillors to enhance the facilities for the benefit of residents and the wider community. I was also able to support Don’t Lose Hope, The Butterfield Centre, Bourne Lions, The Len Pick Trust and Tiny Steps Petting Farm.

Now that my military career has come to an end, I am delighted to be able to stand as a County Councillor and, with your support, continue my journey of service and make a lasting contribution to our community. We are fortunate to live where we do, but I recognise many of the challenges we face and there is always more that can be done.

Together, we can make a difference.
